TEAL FAMILY HISTORY AND GENEALOGY

Naylor Teal of Yeadon 1831 - 1895 (3749 bytes)

Over the last 30 years my father and now myself have been researching the history of our branch of the Teal family. We have collected large amounts of information, documents, photographs and stories and some of these are presented on this site. The earliest ancestor I have found is Thomas Teal, he was born in 1705 and died in 1771, he lived in the small hamlet of Timble which is in the Parish of Fewston in the Washburn Valley area of the West Riding Of Yorkshire, England. He worked a small farm near the top of the valley in the Royal Manorial Forest of Knaresborough. Please search the database, linked below and if you find a link with any of your ancestors or require any further infomation on the people listed do not hesitate to email me. Also included is Fewston Genealogical Site, this contains details of where the main records of use to family historians for this Parish can be found, and includes transcripts of some original records.
